Mark H
Hi,I'm not asking for a full run-down of how to do this. I will go through the tutorials again to update myself and then attempt it before asking for help, but to do a drop-down menu, with normal and hover states, would CSS be the best option? Or should I get my Javascript learnt and working? Thanks,Mark.
dsonesuk
css menu is the ideal option, but if you wish to include IE6 browser compatibility, javascript will have to be included for IE6 (which is just a few lines of code, nothing big) to work with css menu. jeffman
Note: CSS menus generally depend on hover states. Some pages, however, depend on a click event to display a menu. In this case, JavaScript is the only practical solution.
Abby
if you wish to include IE6 browser compatibility, javascript will have to be included for IE6 (which is just a few lines of code, nothing big) to work with css menu.I just realized that my page renders incorrectly in IE6. One of the fixed images and the top menu are in the wrong places. Is there a way to fix this?NOTE: IE NetRenderer will render any URL in IE6, 7, and 8.
