Mark H Posted October 15, 2010 Share Posted October 15, 2010 In all modern browsers (FF, Chrome, IE8 and Safari) this is working fine.But in IE7 there are strange gaps between the dropdown images. And the dropdowns disappear behind the scroll (I tried using z-index but it had no effect).I've disabled the dropdowns for IE7 and lower, but I'm puzzled as to the reasons.Rabel Not WorkingMark.P.s. dsonesuk Posted October 15, 2010 Share Posted October 15, 2010 the problem, with the gap within the menu dropdown is because of the padding used, i would refrain from using padding for top and bottom, and set a fixed height instead, then use line-height to vertical align the text. dsonesuk Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 the reason it is not working is because you have a space between li and .topLevel it should be li.topLevel, at present it is looking for an element after li with a class .topLevel, which does not exist, so the css declarations are not assigned to anything.
