jessmess
I'm looking to create a drop down menu for my website. I have it working perfectly, I just can't seem to separate the items in the drop down from the heading so I can style them separately, because the items in the drop down are too big and I don't want the border underneath them. If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated!! ~Jess www.disneymadesimple.com/test-page.html styles.css
Ingolme
Your HTML isn't valid. Instead of <span class="items"> under the <ul> element, just put <ul class="items"> instead. You can't have any element directly under a <ul> except for a list item.To style the list items, just use this selector: "items li"
dsonesuk
to target the sublevel anchors add a ul as in nav ul ul li a {border-bottom: none;font-size: 12px;} this will target all sublevels anchors below parent ul nav ul ul ul li a {color: lime;} will target all sublevel anchors below the first sublevel and so on.
