thescientist
Maybe getting a little too granular, but seeing as a VCS subforum was created, I was wondering if there was/is any interest in creating a subforum related to the items of the topic title? I know not a lot of members necessarily work full time in development, but there seem to be enough users that have an interest in it. Some useful things that could be brought up include Continuos Integration - Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo Build Tools - Maven, ANT, Grunt.js Testing - Mocha, Jasmine, PHPUnit It seems like these would coincide nicely with the VCS sub forum, since they can all be related, as they often are done together. Just a thought. I've been getting into this a lot more at work. Affectionately being dubbed the "build master." Or if not, maybe we can just comment here with any thoughts regarding these dev tools. edit:Here is a link for those unfamiliar with the topic.http://en.wikipedia....ous_integration In particular the principles section gives a good overview of how all these things tie in together. Ingolme
It sounds like a subset of version control to me.
