callumacrae
Please could you use the BBCode? Your post is extremely tricky to read, and I don't understand what you're asking.
Labtec
Where is your test.php page located in relation to your calling script? Kind regards, Lab.

dsonesuk
your test.php should not contain no content more than the content you wish to enter into the main page within the <body></body> part of the document, for example <h1>Hello world</h1> <p>Consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt in reprehenderit in voluptate. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, ut enim ad minim veniam, duis aute irure dolor. Velit esse cillum dolore sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt mollit anim id est laborum. Eu fugiat nulla pariatur. In reprehenderit in voluptate quis nostrud exercitation ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat.</p><p>Velit esse cillum dolore consectetur adipisicing elit, duis aute irure dolor. Mollit anim id est laborum. Quis nostrud exercitation sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt eu fugiat nulla pariatur.</p> no html, body or head tags, css, javascript link should be placed in the main document it is inserted into. Then you just insert this into a php page (a must) , where it is needed, as you have showed us <div class="leftmenu"> <?php include 'test.php'; ?> </div>
