Ingolme
You use the <video> tag to embed videos onto the page. You can embed an MP4 file using it. Here's a tutorial page on how to use the <video> tag so that it will work properly on all HTML 5 browsers: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_video.asp

AbigailMenard
Actually video tag only work in HTML5 format , so to make sure this video work well you should use .xhtml as extension. Good Luck.
Ingolme
That's completely wrong. HTML 5 is not XHTML.
krishnanayaks
use the <video> element : like: <video> <source src="movie.mp4" type="video/mp4"></video>

Chikwado
Yes! HTML5 will handle every cross-media. Just try to learn its declaration. xhtml is html4 or dreamweaver stuff. Edited January 31, 2016 by Chikwado
dsonesuk
Err no, html4 is html version 4, xhtml4 is xhtml version 4 which follows more certain stricter rules compared to html4, which has been superseded by html5, but you could have xhtml5 if you wish. Ingolme
There wasn't an XHTML 4, it was XHTML 1.0. XHTML 5 is what they refer to as HTML 5 serialized as XML.
