abmmhasan
There is nothing on <marquee> tag in site. This should be added in HTML section.
dsonesuk
Theres a reason for that its OLD, DEPRECATED, and NO LONGER SUPPORTED, theres nothing about stone wheels these days, it does not mean i want those back over modern tyres. The same effect can be achieved using javascript OR css3. http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=53346&page=1entry293702 Edited January 6, 2016 by dsonesuk
Ingolme
It's not really deprecated because it was never part of the standard to begin with.
AbigailMenard
<marquee> tag has become completely obsolete now. It used to be an attractive feature of website in earlier era of internet , but not now. Edited January 11, 2016 by AbigailMenard

AbigailMenard
I agree dsonesuk. I was just mentioning that most developers don't use marquee tag nowadays.
dsonesuk
I agree dsonesuk. I was just mentioning that most developers don't use marquee tag nowadays. Why is it that? I mean as already mentioned that it is old, not supported, never part of standard, can be achieved using JavaScript or css3 pretty much covers the reason WHY developers would not the use marquee tag. You did get the 'I' instead of 'It' part, right! Seems a odd reply? Like it just went over your head and you didn't catch or get it.
