create responsive Modal Images with CSS and JavaScript - but not only 1 image - two images or more on on site

At first a great compliment to w3schools - I learned a lot of html, css, js and more at this site.

Now I tried to implement the code from "create responsive Modal Images with CSS and JavaScript" into my page (https://www.ferienhaus-piemont.info/ausstattung-ferienhaus.php#eos)

It's running perfect with ONE image. What I want to do/ to change it's also running with 2,3 ore more images - not as  a slideshow - as single images ???

It's would be great anyone could help me.

There are some thumbnails in the "table of details" of the house. with click at the thumbnail image i want to show the modal.

I see that it is already opening a modal when a thumbnail is clicked. What is missing?

For every image clicked the OP wants individual pop-up modal for that image I believe.

Hello, I changed the view to a "js tab gallery" of w3schools. It's running but it looks not so fine as the modal version.
