the customer will lose products in their cart, and i heard some other things might happen as well, for example to users might sometime be sharing the cart and account, or something like that. that's way all the links on my site, have session id's appended to them.but this anchor link doesn't , so ..........

i tested it with both IE and FF, and with Dialup and broadband. still not getting it right??

yes, now yu guess it right bhuratea.com/faq.phpplease note one thing:after clicking on the anchor the page refreshes if it's your first visit to that page i.e. until you close the window or open it in a new window, the anchor links work as redquired as long as you surf on the same window.also note only a TITLE named Order has an anchor link for now to a text Order lower on the page. thanks

edit: i didn't see you reply , post #4 was for aspnetguy,i am on a paid server.the way you mentioned is correct but mine is not wrong either. but set them all apart. i said in post #1 that it refreshes the page if it's your first visit. so th codee you gave or this<a href="http://www.site.com/somepage.php#text">Text</a>refeshes that page and then takes me to the anchor link

just when i was all set to go, i found that google did not crawl any of my pages that are under a sub-directory, this hit me like a thunder-storm. all of my informational pages are inside sub-folders. and the urls' likewww.site.com/folder/file.phpwww.site.com/yfolder/yfile.phpwww.site.com/xxxx/xxx.phpand so on and onis there anything special needed to tell google, that i do have pages elsewhere on my site. there trilions of other sites listed with sub-foldes. is there anything needed to be done. i have sitemap and everything else. thanks
