jimfog
Where is that css you are referring to the above link? How am I going to apply it to the site?
dsonesuk
ALL using firefox i might add.At the site enter http://w3schools.invisionzone.com, this should then show dates that this site was archived, select time period, then date, view page source of that page, click css file link, and save css file to your computer.Install 'web developer toolbar' addon, select css -> add user style sheet, and select the css file, this should show the corrected page design layout, only drawback is that you have to reselect it every time you change to different page.Edit: you can choose edit css, copy the css from the css file you downloaded and overwrite the content in css tab (at the moment its showing html code relating to error), and as long as you keep edit css panel open the pages will show ALMOST as it should be, even if you navigate to different pages. dsonesuk
IN FIREFOX1) go to http://chrispederick.com/work/web-developer/ and install this addon, if you have not already done so.2) go to http://archive.org/web/ enter http://w3schools.invisionzone.com and choose date from calendar at top, I choose 1st of January3) view the source of archive page and click the css file link, save opened css file to location on your computer.4) go to http://w3schools.invisionzone.com5) from web developer toolbar choose CSS, from dropdown select 'Edit CSS'6) EDIT: click 'open' and load saved archive css file,, and page should show correct layout. NOTE: YOU MUST KEEP THIS PANEL OPEN ALL THE TIME WHILE AT http://w3schools.invisionzone.com, else you lose everything and it will revert to broken state. when finished with http://w3schools.invisionzone.com. you can then close 'web developer' css editor panel.7) VERY IMPOTENT PIN the css Edited January 9, 2014 by dsonesuk

jimfog
the only problem is you have to repeat the same procedure every time you reopen firefox. Is there any way that the steps described in post can be somehow "remembered" by firefox.
Don E
The question should be... when is this going to be fixed?
Ingolme
I won't be writing any posts or replies until the forum stylesheets are loaded again. My browser's getting a 500 error for the stylesheets and other forum media.I have no information as to when the problem is going to be fixed. davej
I don't know. Maybe they have turned out the lights and are waiting for all of us to leave? I thought the site had been restored a few days ago, but it was just that the browser I was using had a cached version of the css file.
Hadien
Hooray! site seems to be functioning! (that or I'm looking at a cached CSS, which if so i'm not messing with)
