Can I be a operator, Im 11 at the current time.(I have my parents permission) Can I use EMAIL instead of Fax Do I HAVE to use coppa? If I HAVE to use coppa, Can I have them EMAIL it to me? It's designed to protect children (under 13) on the internet. You should read the links I provided. Some of it makes absolute sense, some may not to some people. You should also be able to get parental consent through email: An operator may use any one of a number of methods to notify a parent, including sending an email message to the parent or a notice by postal mail.So you probably need to have a check where it asks for the user's birthday, and if they are under 13 you also need to ask for a parent's email address to send a request for consent to. Have the email you send to the parents email include a n activation code (randomly generated) and the link to the activation form.They just put in the code and hit send and the account gets activated. Then a message[i can customize.. ] will be sent to the parents with an activation link. The parents will click it, Not the child. The searches I've done to try and find that aren't making a lot of sense.Are you making any money through this site, through advertising or anything else?
