hacknsack
First, congratulations on your new positions!(Thanks for your time and efforts).I just wanted to mention 3 things(none of which are emergencies by any means).1) Link color or decoration(already seen the thread on this one)2) Noticed that pasting code from 'code' and 'codebox' work differently, code pastedfrom codeboxes contains no formatting.3) Can a 'codebox' button be added to the 'reply' menu. Thanks again,
Chocolate570
@Hacknsack: 1. That can not be done by us, but it can be done VERY simply by the admins. It takes around 2 seconds.@Hacknsack: 2. That can't be done period. @Hacknsack: 3. There's a code for that, but only admins can do it.
Skemcin
Lets not all get so giddy about the recent changes to the forum environment. Lets just keep doing what we have been doing - helping each other.@Chocolate570 - it seems Dan didn't catch on to your sarcasm.@Dan - You are obviously an asset to the forums and I feel I can safely say that no offense was intended by Chocolate570's remarks. In the future, I would hesitate to openly criticise a moderator or administrator. Please note the next remark.@Everyone:a.) Understand that this form of communication can very easily be misinterpreted.b.) If a report has not been established with someone you are replying to and you're not sure if the person will "get" your sarcasm or humor - don't post it - just stick to the point.c.) Please make an effort to read posts from more than one perspective.d.) Please communicate any disagreements via Private Message to the individual in question and/or directly to any/all of the moderators.Respectfully,Skemcin

Jack McKalling
There are no rules how exactly you can become a moderator, while they got chosen when they're needed. With your opinion about the DHTML tutorial, I don't fully agree... It is not there because the language is not a W3C standard

Chocolate570
By asking to be a moderator or how to be a moderator, you completely remove your chances of becoming one. Use your common sense on how to be a good member. Don't spam, help out, and be considerate.
Jonas
I want to know exactly how i can become a moderator<{POST_SNAPBACK}> For the moment, there isn't need for another moderator, as there are already four of us plus an admin who will become more active as his back gets better (accident), and we are coping fine. However, the best way for you to become a mod is for you to be an active member on the forum, and contribute any way you can. In a way, be noticeable without looking like you are spesifically trying to be noticeable.and i think you should also add a forum for DHTML<{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is no need for a dhtml forum, as dhtml is not a language itself, but a combination of HTML(DOM), CSS and JavaScript, to make Dynamic HTML pages. Any questions you have or help you may need with something in dhtml, can be asked in either of the other forums, HTML forum, CSS forum or JavaScript forum. Eric
I want to file a complant against Jonas.Jonas has been nothing but rude and unhelpful since the day I joined.Rather than actually helping, he'll make off-the-wall comments and do everything possible to be the most unhelpful ever.I think Jonas should be stripped from his rank of "Moderator". aspnetguy
Eric if that is the way you feel you should just not respond to his comments. I have found Jonas to be helpful most of the time. Although his comments can seem rude I don't think they are at all intended that way.If we can't make jokes for fear of others being offended this will become a boring place. And perhaps Jonas you could refrain from making humorous comments to Eric sense there is a misunderstanding between the 2 of you.I personally don't think this issue needs to go any further than the 2 of you...just agree to stay out each others way if things can't be worked out...and I do not think Jonas should lose his moderator status over such a silly issue.
