reportingsjr
No, you cant change anything about the title attribute except for the text displayed. Later you will be able to style it with CSS. But im not sure how long that will be!
vchris
It can be modified with a script. I did that before for a site. Look on dynamicdrive.com I think that's where I found it.
reportingsjr
No, there is no way to edit the actual display. On dynamic drive they just cover it up, like the context menus they have, they just hide that the right button was clicked and show a div where ever you right clicked. It may just be a hover menu.. vchris
The one I had removed the normal attribute pop-up and added their own which you could arrange to look the same with more features.

mithu_sree
If my question is not clear; i repeat I wanted to change the layout from the tooltip created by the title atribute and not the color of link text

PrateekSaxena
Hi,To change the background color of the link just <style>a{ text-decoration:none;}a:hover{ background-color: green;}
Sniffy
He means the tooltip/title attribute, not the link color.I've gotten as far as being able to access the attribute, but not skinning it, just the tag with the attribute. <html><head><style type='text/css'>*[title]{background-color: 000;}</style></head><body><a href='' title='hello world'>hi</a></body></html> I'll work on it though.NOTE: NOT SUPPORTED BY IE. reportingsjr
No, he is just using css 4. [] means attribute. So it will search for anything with the title attribute and change its background color, not the tool tips background.
