Goes for any tags actually. no style tag in the head section no matter what is in there. No empty <p> tags (<p> </p>)I can try and search for the original word doc if you need it.Thanks! <html><head><meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"><meta name=Generator content="Microsoft Word 11 (filtered)"><title>PREFACE</title><style><!-- /* Font Definitions */ @font-face {font-family:"Times New \(W1\)"; panose-1:2 2 6 3 5 4 5 2 3 4;} /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {margin:0cm; margin-bottom:.0001pt; punctuation-wrap:simple; text-autospace:none; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";}h1 {margin-top:12.0pt; margin-right:0cm; margin-bottom:3.0pt; margin-left:21.6pt; text-indent:-21.6pt; page-break-after:avoid; punctuation-wrap:simple; text-autospace:none; font-size:16.0pt; font-family:Arial;}@page Section1 {size:612.0pt 792.0pt; margin:72.0pt 90.0pt 72.0pt 90.0pt;}div.Section1 {page:Section1;} /* List Definitions */ ol {margin-bottom:0cm;}ul {margin-bottom:0cm;}--></style></head><body lang=EN-CA><div class=Section1><h1 style='margin:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:0cm'><aname="_Toc138070756"></a><a name="_Toc95619545">PREFACE</a></h1><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-right:-22.5pt;text-align:justify'> </p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-right:-22.5pt;text-align:justify'>The purposeof this guidebook is to provide information to government agencies, industryand industrial associations, non-governmental organizations and the publicabout the methods used for the compilation of area source emissions for the 2002National Emissions Inventory of Criteria Air Contaminants.   2. Is that a command prompt? If it is I may have terminated that window since all I saw was a count down to exit the window.Anyway I'll try again tonight.
  3. I guess I'll just stick to converting word docs to html myself as long as their not too big.

    Firefox new tab

    You better not have it as your homepage!!!
  5. Could you create a console app that takes a word webpage and cleans the code? I tried that in perl but it's a lot more complicated than I thought...

    Firefox new tab

    Actually when I open a new tab most of the time I want to search google for something and my home page is currently google but only the first tab.Did you hear about http://www.live.com ? MS version of google.
  7. So the post I attempt to create actually doesn't count, it's simply an edit right?
  8. I noticed that if I'm the last person to post in a thread and I post another post after mine, it automatically adds it at the bottom of my previous post. Is this new? First time I notice this.
  9. Issue resolved. I'm up to the point where I need to query the db onChange of a select option. Please see my coldfusion thread for replies.http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=8716Actually I got another problem. I want a select to appear a certain option in another select is selected.Here is my java script: function showElements() { if(document.getElementByName('docType').value == 20){ document.getElementById('estMethodContainer').style.display = 'block'; }} Here is my HTML: <div id="docTypeContainer"> <p><label>Document Type <span class="star">*</span></label> <select name="docType" onChange="showElements();"> <option value="default">Make a Selection</option> <cfoutput query="getDocTypes"> <option value="#getDocTypes.InfoType_Code#">#getDocTypes.Description_E#</option> </cfoutput> </select></p> </div> Nothing happens when I select the right option. My if statement in my javascript is correct, I have validated the value with the page source.EDIT:Here's what I read on a forum. I added an id instead and it worked immediately.
  10. I am working on a complicated form. Now there is a select and depending on the choice of the select I have to return different records from the db. Is there a way to create a query that is only executed onChange event without page reload?<cfscript> maybe? I never worked with this tag before.
  11. I remember those days when I was seeing C++. It was wonderful

    It's better to have many small images then one very large image. The page loads faster with many small images. High speed users probably won't see the difference but Dial-up users will!!! It'll save 'em around 3 hours and 12 mins

    Firefox new tab

    This is bugging me! Ah well I guess I'll stick to ALT+Home.
  14. and hardest script is pretty relative. I newcomer to javascript (I assume) would find all of them hard.

    Firefox new tab

    Is there a way for firefox to load your homepage on new tabs instead of just the first tab opened?I checked in the options and I don't see anything concerning that.
  16. I'm a total Noob when it comes to javascript. It just seems to never work for me. Ok now my problem.I am trying to change the display property of a form element when a certain radio button is checked to none so it's invisible. I can't seem to get it to work. Script: <script language="javascript">function toggleVisible() { document.sourceType.style.display = 'none';}</script> HTML: <p><label>Source Classification <span class="star">*</span></label><input type="radio" name="sourceClass" value="Point Source" onClick="toggleVisible();" /> Point Source<br /><input type="radio" name="sourceClass" value="Non-Point Source" /> Non-Point Source<br /><input type="radio" name="sourceClass" value="Overarching Document" /> Overarching Document<br /><input type="radio" name="sourceClass" value="Emission Scenario Document" /> Emission Scenario Document</p> <p><label>Source Type <span class="star">*</span></label><input type="radio" name="sourceType" value="Industry" /> Industry<br /><input type="radio" name="sourceType" value="Industrial Process/Activity" /> Industrial Process/Activity<br /><input type="radio" name="sourceType" value="Chemicals" /> Chemicals<br /><input type="radio" name="sourceType" value="Area Sources" /> Area Sources</p> So basically what I want is when the first radio button is checked (Point Source) all the Source Type radio options should be invisible for testing purposes. I should probably put a div around the Source Types so even the label would be invisible.Edit:I created a div with a unique id around the radios and did this instead: document.getElementById('sourceTypeContainer').style.display = 'none'; Seems to work well. If you have a better idea let me know.
  17. Works awesome! It's perfect.
  18. What is the purpose of this thread?

    There isn't much more to it but here it is: <cfparam name="counter" default="0"><cfparam name="form.users" default="0"><cfelseif isDefined('form.approveMarked')><!--- At least 1 user is checked ---><cfif isDefined('form.users')><cfsavecontent variable="sqllist"><cfloop list="#form.users#" index="i"><cfoutput><cfset counter = counter + 1>'#i#'<cfif counter neq listLen(form.users)>,</cfif></cfoutput></cfloop></cfsavecontent><cfquery name="qryUpdateUser" datasource="xxxxxx"> UPDATE User_Table SET Approved = 1 WHERE UserName IN (#sqllist#)</cfquery><div class="formsuccess">User(s) Marked were approved successfully.</div><cfelse><!--- If no selection ---><div class="formfailure">User(s) not approved. No selection made.</div></cfif>
  20. I'm unable to see your site maybe because of my work firewall but anyway have you tried absoulte or relative positioning?
  21. I don't know what could be wrong I set it up with the apache files you mentioned above... I'll try and reinstall it tonight.
  22. Ok I got it installed but for some reason when it attempts to open the admin login page all I get is an option to download the page. As if CF was not supported by my web server.
  23. I am trying to install CF MX 7 developer edition. It's asking me about my server. I choose Apache in the drop down but what about the Configuration Directory and the Directory and file name of the server binary? Or should I just use CF as a stand alone server?
  24. that's fine I'm not that interested with asp. I prefer php and cf.
  25. Downloaded and installed. I noticed it added: c:/inetpub/wwwroot just like IIS does. Does it automatically support some server side scripting languages? If so which one?
