Las Vegas Trip

I'm going to Las Vegas in 2 weeks and was just wondering if you guys knew anything cool I could do there? I already plan on going play a bit of poker, go see cirque du soleil O, grand canyon/hoover dam... Other than that probably go see the nice hotels. Is it a good idea to rent an exotic car over there (ferrari, porsche...) for 1 day?

Vegas is the Devil - stay away from the light - lolSeriously though, everyone I've ever spoken to says it was worth going once, but cared to not go back. Maybe its just my (and their) point in live (age, kids, careers) but I'm not interested in going. Too easy to spend money I know could be spent more wisely. Yes, I know, "have fun skemcin you hard a$$" - yeah yeah yeah. I've rather spend my hard earned money on running my 79 Porsche in an autocross than listen to some singer who's CD is on sale at walmart for $7.99:)

I think poker is no good. Is very vicious and when you win a little, you think that when you'll play again you'll win more. And that's the way many people lost there jobs, houses and women :)Anyhow, when you go to Las Vegas it worths to play stmh' in the Casinos. If u are a vampire, don't go there..the light will kill ya :)

That really goes for gambling in general, and has nothing with the game poker itself to do. Betting on horses is the same thing, or boxing to use your rocky-avatar as an example. The game poker itself is a cool game. There are so many other fun variations of it that doesn't involve gambling with money. For example strip-poker or sip-poker... :)

Yeah I think poker is lot more just gambling. Its more of a mind game... not like betting on horses is more of a luck factor, but in poker, the way they manipulate, trick and bluff... it needs a lot of talent to play it...

I actually really like the Tribeca. I always new the look would grow on me and I want one even more now. But both vehicles are just a hair too small. I am 6'3'' and my standard vehicle test is to put both front seats all the way back. Then, I go sit in the back seats, if I am comfortable, then I can start to consider the car/truck. Otherwise, there is not enough room for me (number one) but more importantly, it is accurate measure that helps determine how easy it is for my kids to kick the back of my seat while I'm driving. Most of the time its not the kicking that I mind, its the dirt that kids track in that bothers me. Anyway, I did look at them, and they just don't have enough "livable" space.
A guy I work for races his 914 in a Porsche club.
That looks likea rather nice 914. My uncle actually a 914 a while back. There is a slight chance he still has it, but I kind of doubt - this makes me want to call. What is cool about a Porsche is the you will find EVERY model they've ever made on a race track somewhere. You know you have quality engineering when every model is built with that mind set (yes including the Cayenne).

Depending on exactly when you're going, you might hit their "dark dates", but otherwise, I highly recommend going to see Penn & Teller at the Rio if you like magic, comedy, or just a great show. I have never seen them do a bad show.General Show Info
Penn and Teller rules! I got their show called bull######, they explained how things we thought or doubted it was real were bull######! Good show!I'll probably go see them.
